Samsung Announces Music Hub Service

Posted Jul 31, 2012

Samsung Electronics has announced a new mobile music service called Music Hub.  Music Hub will initially run on the Galaxy S III smartphone.  The Music Hub software has features that are similar to Spotify.  Samsung built Music Hub from technology in mSpot, a company that they acquired in May 2012.  Users will be able to access Music Hub from the Samsung App Store.  The Music Hub service has music storage capacity, a streaming music catalog, and a personal radio service that is like Spotify and Pandora.  There is a free 30-day trial for a $9.99 per month service as well.
