Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S3, the successor device of the S2 will not be at Mobile World Congress 2012. The phone was expected to arrive this month, but Samsung has confirmed that there will be a separate event to launch the device. The Galaxy S3 is expected to have a faster processor, a larger screen, and other next-generation features compared to the S2.
“Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012,” said the company in an interview with TechRadar. “The successor to the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product.”
