Samsung has initiated pre-orders of the Galaxy Tab S tablets in its home country. The pricing of the tablets have not been revealed. Samsung said that the first orders will receive a set of Level On on-ear headphones for free.
The Galaxy Tab S line-up features WQXGA (2560 x 1600) AMOLED displays and octa-core Exynos 5420 processors. It also has 3GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, 16/32GB internal memory, finger scanner, NFC, IR blaster, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung’s Magazine UX.
The tablets are expected to hit retailers like Amazon.com and Best Buy in the U.S. later this year. The 8.4-inch WiFi only model costs $399 and the 10.1-inch version costs $499. The LTE-enabled models will be available later this year.
