One of the key features in the launch of Windows Phone 8 was NFC (near-field communication). NFC means that small packets of data can be shared by holding Windows Phone 8 devices back to back? Data such as URLs, contacts data, etc. This same feature is built in newer Android devices. AndroidCentral has created this video of the Windows Phone based HTC 8X bouncing data back-and-forth with the Android-based Samsung Galaxy Nexus. As of right now file transfers are not working between the two different as they did not have luck with photos.
