Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini: 4.3-Inch Screen, 1.7GHz Dual-Core, and 8-Megapixel Camera

Samsung Electronics has announced the Samsung GALAXY S4 mini smartphone today.  This is a compact version of the Samsung GALAXY S4.  Specs of the GALAXY S4 mini include a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display, a 107g compact design, and a 1.7GHz dual core processor.  The GALAXY S4 also has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera.

The S4 mini features Sound&Shot, which stores sound and voice together as photos are taken.  It also has Panorama Shot for taking a full view of your surroundings.  The phone will come with a preloaded S Travel application to recommend future trips and provide travel guides.  The Story Album feature lets you automatically arrange photos in a smart format.  The photos taken by the GALAXY S4 mini are gathered and saved based on a user’s timeline, geo-tagging information, or a specific event to create a photo album.

The Samsung GALAXY S4 mini is about an inch smaller than the Samsung GALAXY S4 and it is 23 grams lighter.  The resolution on the S4 mini is dropped to the 940×540 resolution size compared to the 1080p display on the GALAXY S4.
