Samsung Electronics has announced two new Android handsets called the Galaxy Young and the Galaxy Fame. The two new Android handsets were specifically designed for the youth market as it has a focus on gaming and media.
The Galaxy Young has a 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 3.27-inch HVGA TFT display, 4GB internal storage, 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 1,300mAh battery. The Young comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean preloaded.
The Galaxy Fame is very similar to the Galaxy Young. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0, 4GB internal storage, 1,300mAh battery, and optional NFC. The device comes preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Both phones come preloaded with Samsung Game Hub Lite, which encourages younger users to play games that were made specifically for the handsets. The Fame will be available in pearl white and metallic blue. The Young will be available in white, deep blue, wine red, and metallic silver. Both models of the phones will be available with dual-SIM variants.
