Samsung has announced today that they are moving their research and development subsidiary Samsung Information Systems America (SISA) to an 8.5-acre campus in Mountain View, California. The construction of Samsung’s new research and development center in Silicon Valley is expected to start in the second half of 2013. Occupancy of the campus is expected to start in 2014. Samsung will build ?two new six-story class-A office buildings totaling approximately 385,000 sq. ft. and two 5-6 story parking structures,” stated SISA president Jay Chang as quoted by TheNextWeb. ?Our company will benefit from the dynamic location, the culture and the diversity of talent here in the region.?
