Samsung is going to launch a handset that has a curved display soon. According to Reuters, Samsung will preview the device next month.
The announcement was made by D.J. Lee, the head of strategic marketing at Samsung. Lee revealed the details at a Galaxy Note 3 launch event in Seoul, South Korea.
“We plan to introduce a smartphone with a curved display in South Korea in October,” stated Lee. This handset is expected to have a flexible OLED display and would have limited production. These devices uses technology that is similar to what Samsung uses for the curved displays introduced in some of their televisions like the curved OLED TV that can be purchased in the U.S. as of last month.
