Samsung Galaxy Smartphones Will Get Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail Album First

Hip-hop artist and entrepreneur Jay-Z is going to release a new album called Magna Carta Holy Grail.  The album is going to be released to Samsung Galaxy smartphones first with no cost, according to VentureBeat.  Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, and Galaxy Note 2 users will be able to download a free app on June 24th from the Google Play store.

The first million people that download the app will be able to download the Magna Carta Holy Grail album free on July 4th, which is 72 hours before the album will be available.  This is quite an unexpected perk for Samsung Galaxy owners.  It is unknown what the terms of the Samsung-Jay-Z deal is worth.

The Magna Carta Holy Grail album will be the sequel to Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 album.  The Blueprint 3 album was released around four years ago.  Below is a promo video about the new album.  Producers involved in this album includes Pharrell, Timbaland, Rick Rubin, and Swizz Beatz.
