San Diego, California is about to become host to an electric carsharing program. The company is placing 1,000 recharging stations around the area, and the press release says a single charge can take the car up to 84 miles.

Car2go is already available in four cities (Vancouver, BC; Austin, TX; Ulm and Hamburg, Germany) with more than 40,000 members.
