German software company SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) has announced several major management changes. Rob Enslin and Bernd Leukert have been appointed to the Executive Board at the company. Vishal Sikka, the executive that was responsible for launching SAP’s cloud software platform resigned.
Bill McDermott will the sole CEO of SAP at the next annual shareholders meeting on May 21st. He had a co-CEO position with Jim Hagemann Snabe since 2010, but Hagemann Snabe announced he would retire soon. McDermott will be the first American CEO to run SAP.
Enslin will oversee SAP’s global sales operations and Leukert will be in charge of development. Enslin joined SAP in 1992 and Leukert joined in 1994.
