Seculert Raises $10 Million From Sequoia and Norwest

Founded in 2010, Seculert is a security company that has developed a patent-pending technology that detects a broad array of cyber threats that affects their customer networks.  The company was founded by computer security professionals Ron Kraitsman, Alex Milstein, Aviv Raff, and Dudi Matot.  Seculert has raised $10 million in Series B funding from Sequoia Capital with participation from Norwest Venture Partners.

Sequoia partner Gili Raanan has joined Seculert’s board of directors.  Other board directors include Dror Nahumi (Norwest Venture Partners), Yoav Leitersdorf (YL Ventures) and Benny Schnaider.  YL Ventures is known for being the seed investor in Seculert.  Seculert is known for using crowdsourcing and big data analytics to identify and block malware attacks.

“We?ve been able to identify devices inside and outside the corporate network that are being affected by hackers without installing on premise,” stated Seculert founder and CEO Dudi Malot.
