ShareThis Raises $23 Million In Series C

ShareThis is an online publisher service that has raised $23 million in Series C funding.  The company has also acquired a startup called Socialize, a company that makes a developer toolkit for apps.

The Series C funding was led by T-Venture.  New investors that joined this round include Harbourton and West Capital Advisors.  Other investors that have joined this round include Blue Chip Venture Company, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Illinois Ventures, Matthew Pritzker Co., Mercury Fund, and RPM Ventures.

Bernhard Gold of T-Ventures will be joining the board of directors at ShareThis.  ShareThis has raised a total of $54 million in funding.  Based in Palo Alto, ShareThis developers widgets, tools, and analytics for sharing content.
