ShareThis has added $7 million to their Series C round to hit a total of $30 million. ShareThis is known for developing tools to help share content on social networks. ShareThis CEO Kurt Abrahamson said that the additional funding was provided by Jump Capital in an interview with BizJournals. ShareThis is used on over 2 million websites and supports 120 social media channels.
ShareThis raised the previous $23 million in Series C funding back in March. That capital was led by T-Venture with participation from existing investors Blue Chip Venture Company, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Illinois Ventures, Matthew Pritzker Company, Mercury Fund and RPM Ventures.
ShareThis has now raised a total of $74 million since being founded in 2007.
