Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg has made $91 million this past week after selling company stock. According to an SEC filing from Friday, Sheryl Sandberg was able to take advantage of the stock price bump. Sandberg cashed 2.37 million shares, which is about 5% of her total shares. The stock was sold at a price ranging between $37.79 and $38.78.
Facebook’s stock has been volatile since going public. The company opened at $38 per share and was trading as low as $18 at one point. The company’s stock price steadily rose over the last few weeks to $38 per share again.
This is not the first time that Sandberg has sold some shares. Sandberg made around $43 million this year from selling Facebook stock. Facebook generated around $1.813 billion in 2012 revenues.
