‘Silicon Valley’ TV show renewed for second season

The TV show “Silicon Valley” is about a team of programmers that are building a startup called “Pied Piper.” The third episode of the show air last night and it has already been renewed for a second season. The show debuted to 2 million viewers this month and is the best-rated new half-hour series since Hung aired in 2009.

The creator of the show is Mike Judge, who is also known for Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill, Office Space, Extract, and Idiocracy.

HBO has also created a landing page for the fake company with all sorts of buzzwords that is used in the Valley. “Pied Piper is a multi-platform technology based on a proprietary universal compression algorithm that has consistently fielded high Weisman Scores? that are not merely competitive, but approach the theoretical limit of lossless compression,” says the fake landing page for the company in an about page.
