Silvercar has announced that they are opening their fourth operation with service available for inbound Houston travelers at the William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) starting July 1st, 2013.  You can already book a car rental for the Hobby airport through the Silvercar Android or iOS app.

Silvercar already operates in Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas Love Field, and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

?Our customers tell us that intra-Texas travel is important, and Houston Hobby provides that access as a travel hub serving the largest city in Texas. Plus Hobby features a strong list of carriers including Southwest,? said Silvercar CEO Luke Schneider in a statement sent to Pulse 2.0. ?Starting and growing in Texas have been integral to the early success Silvercar has experienced, as the state is good for business. It?s fantastic to expand our services to reach more travelers. If you need to travel to or in Texas, we?ve got you covered.?

Based in Austin, Texas, Silvercar is known for allowing customers to rent from a fleet of 2013 Audi A4s in silver color.  All of the A4s have Google Earth GPS navigation, SiriusXM radio, in-car WiFi, and a toll tag.  Silvercar has an introductory rate of $75 on weekdays and $50 on weekends.
