Apple Siri may come to future smart docks

Posted Dec 6, 2013

According to a patent application, Apple may eventually integrate Siri into docking stations. The patent application was published on Thursday by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The dock would use Siri on your mobile device and it would be activated by speaking or making a noise like clapping hands or snapping fingers. After Siri is activated, you will be able to play a song, listen to voice mails, send text messages, check weather, search for content, and set alarms. The dock will have it’s own display screen, remote control, WiFi, touch interface, speaker, and microphone.
