Rapper Snoop Dogg has endorsed the Avegant Glyph, a wearable headset that feels like you are watching an 80-inch, high definition screen. The Avegant Glyph raised funding through Kickstarter — about $1.51 million with a $250,000 goal provided by 3,331 backers.
The headset’s screen can be connected to personal computers, the Xbox, the PlayStation, and Android devices. It has a battery life of about 3 hours. The Glyph will have a retail price of $499 and is expected to arrive by Christmas 2014.
“This is better than looking at real life,” said Snoop. “This is amazing, man.”
