At CES, Sony has announced the Sony Alpha 5000 (A5000). The Sony Alpha 5000 has a 20.1-megapixel sensor. The Sony Alpha 5000 has an integrated LCD display that sits on a 180-degree tilted mechanism. The Sony Alpha 5000 has a BIONZ X processor to power the imaging.
?A serious step up from ordinary point-and-shoot cameras, the new A5000 puts pro-style picture quality in a beautifully designed body that fits easily in your pocket,? said a Sony spokesperson.
The Sony Alpha 5000 has WiFi connectivity with NFC so that it can be wirelessly sync with Android smartphones and tablets to transfer images easily.
Pricing is not yet known, but we know it will be launching in the U.K. this March.
