The Sony Handycam CX380 and PJ380 were announced earlier this month. The CX380 ships with an optional built-in projector. The CX380 and PJ380 are both very identical. The cameras have a video input for displaying content from smartphones, tablets, computers, or any other gadget with an HDMI port. The camcorders have a 26.8mm G lens.
You can use the camcorder to output videos, TV shows, or presentations. Some of the features include an Exmor R sensor that can take 8.9-megapixel photos. They also have a 55/30x optically-stabilized zoom lens, a 230k-dot 3-inch LCD, 60p capturing, a microphone input, and 16GB of internal storage. The camcorder also lets you shoot in AVCHD or MP4. The PJ380 has an HDMI input and a Multi Interface Shoe. Both models will be available in February. The CX380 will be available in black and the PJ380 will be available in black, red, or white.
