Sony is expected to lose $2.14 billion next year

Sony Electronics is expected to lose around 230 billion yen ($2.14 billion) in 2015, which is much higher than expected. The loss is primarily due to weaknesses in its mobile communications marketshare. The $2.14 billion loss is much larger than a July forecast of 50 billion yen ($470 million). Sony said it will deliver more stable profits by focusing on premium phones.
