Sony Shuts Down The PlayStation Network Indefinitely After Hack Attack

Sony Corporation has temporarily shut down the PlayStation Network, a service that serves as a pass for downloading games, movies, TV shows, new games, add-ons, and videos. Recently some hackers got into the PlayStation Network and user information has been compromised. Sony said that they are taking the Network down for an indefinite amount of time.

Sony is currently rebuilding the service. This is not good news PlayStation Network’s 75 million users. ?This is a time intensive process and we?re working to get them back online quickly,? stated Sony spokesman Patrick Seybold. The company is investigating whether any credit card numbers were stolen.
