The Sony Xperia Tablet Z was rolled out in Japan last month, but there was no word about whether it would be available elsewhere until now. The Xperia Tablet Z will be available in internal storage options of 16GB or 32GB. Other specs include Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, a quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, 2GB RAM, 8.1-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, NFC, 4 speakers, a 1920×1200 display, and 6,000mAh battery. The phone is also PlayStation Certified.
The Tablet Z also includes MHL, 64GB of microSD expansion, and DLNA. The black version of the Tablet Z will be sold in Sony stores and will be available through authorized sellers in Q2 2013. The white model will be exclusive through official company outlets. A 16GB version of the Tablet Z will cost $499 and the 32GB version will cost $599.
