Posted Aug 5, 2013

Music streaming service Spotify has launched a new feature called “Browse.”  Browse will show some of the best playlists that have been created on their service.  Spotify selected 20,000 of their favorite playlists to held you find music that you want to listen to based on your mood.

The Browse feature was built by Tunigo, which is a music recommendations service that Spotify acquired earlier this year.  Browse will be launched on the iOS and Android apps first.

“With over one billion playlists. chances are somebody has already made a playlist to suit your mood,” stated Spotify Vice President of Product Charlie Hellman as quoted by The Verge.
