Sprint Corporation (S) announces first 10 startups for accelerator program

Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) chief executive officer Dan Hesse announced the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator has launched and has welcome the first 10 startup technology companies. The three month program is led by Techstars and will feature health technology groups from around the U.S. and one from Australia.

Sprint and Techstars browsed through hundreds of applicants from around the world before making a decision on the final 10. Each of these startups could receive $120,000 in funding and will be able to access over 80 mentors through the accelerator program. Below are the list of companies:
– Akibah, San Jose, Calif.
– Fitbark, New York City
– Lifeline Response, Chicago
– Medicast, Palo Alto, Calif.
– Ollo Mobile, Brisbane, Australia
– Prime, San Francisco
– Sickweather, Baltimore
– Symptom.ly, Salt Lake City
– Tenacity Health, Boston
– Yosko, Cambridge, Mass.
