Yesterday Sprint and Kyocera have announced the first smartphone of its kind – it is the first dual touchscreen smartphone. The Kyocera Echo was made in a tablet-like form, but can still fit in a pocket. When in single screen mode, the Echo supports a 3.5-inch WVGA screen. While in dual-mode, the phone have a 4.7 inch screen and works in Simul-Task mode so you can run two apps at the same time, one on each screen. You can also run apps in Optimized Mode, or running optimized features of one app split across both screens. The phone also works in tablet mode so you can spread one app across both screens.
