Stack Exchange launches an Android app

Posted Jan 28, 2014

Stack Exchange has released an Android app that supports version 4.0 and up. The Stack Exchange app has a single combined feed where users can read content across the website’s 120 networks. An iPhone alpha version is coming soon. You can customize the recommendations of questions based on the websites and tags that you participate in. Questions are tailored to your interests and it will learn from your activity to get better over time.

The Stack Exchange app also shows all of your replies in one timeline and it updates when you get up-voted or when your answers are accepted. The Careers section of the Stack Exchange app contains community events, blog posts, and recommended jobs for you. The app can be configured so that the app automatically opens when clicking on a Stack Exchange URL.
