Earlier this month, Subaru announced that they will have an in-car connectivity system called Starlink. Starlink will be integrated with smartphone applications like Aha. Starlink will allow drivers to access thousands of streaming radio stations and podcasts. Starlink also lets you access on-demand music services like Slacker and Rhapsody.
The Starlink system will debut in the 2014 Subaru Forester and will be available in all versions of that vehicle going forward. Starlink will also come in the 2013 Legacy and Outback models as upgrades. The 2014 Impreza, BRZ, and XV Crosstek models with factory navigation will also have Starlink.
Starlink will let you control adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, throttle management, and vehicle lane departure warnings. The EyeSight system can bring the vehicle to a complete stop to avoid collisions. EyeSight uses two CCD cameras mounted in the inside of a car.
