Sulia is a service that used to be a filtering service within the Twitter ecosystem. Last year, Sulia turned into a standalone subject based social network.
Sulia is now hitting around 10 million visitors per month, which is up from 4 million as of the end of 2012. Sulia has raised $6 million in Series B funding led by Greycroft Partners. Metamorphic Ventures, FirstMark Capital, Village Ventures, and IA Ventures also participated in this round.
The company is currently running “native ads” on their topic pages. Some of the brands that are testing native ads on Sulia includes NFL and Ford.
