Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) is going to start delivering the Model S in China this week and now CEO Elon Musk is hinting at expansion plans being set up in the Asian country. Musk said that he is planning to start manufacturing Tesla vehicles in China within the next three to four years, according to Bloomberg.
“China is very important to the future of Tesla. We?re going to make a big investment in China in terms of charging infrastructure,” said Musk at the Geekpark Conference this weekend. Deliveries in China are expected to start on Tuesday.
