BlackBerry has announced today that the BlackBerry Q10 device will be available in Canada starting May 1st. Interested consumers will be able to pick up the device from Rogers Wireless, Bell Mobility, and Telus for $199 with a three-year contract. Other carriers that will be selling the phone include Virgin Mobile Canada, Fido, Koodo Mobile, and Sasktel. Consumers in Canada will also be able to buy the phone at The Source, Future Shop, and Best Buy sometime in the near future.
The BlackBerry Q10 will be launching globally, but the dates for that are not yet known. The device passed through FCC testing on April 17th so it is expected to arrive in the United States around May or June.
The Q10 has a QWERTY keyboard, 3.1-inch AMOLED screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM. The Q10 also supports LTE.
