The Experience Project is a social cause marketing company that is led by CEO Peter Jackson. The Experience Project runs Twitcause and Broadcause. The company is raising $2 million from D.E. Shaw and several other investors.

The Experience Project sees about 4.5 million people per month who talk about life experiences from 300,000 different groups. The Experience Project feeds into Twitcause, which sends an alert to followers about new causes.

Broadcause features one cause per week and spreads news about it on Twitter. American Express had recently used Broadcause to promote the Members Project. Broadcause was able to generate about 5,000 retweets about the project.
