The HP Chromebook 11 Costs $279 And Uses A Cellphone Charger

Today Google unveiled a new laptop called the HP Chromebook 11 in New York.  The laptop is powered by a miniUSB cellphone charger.  Google product management director Caesar Sengupta said that you can have one single charger for all of your devices. 

The $279 Chromebook laptop has a sharp LCD and speakers place right below the keyboard for solid sound projection.  The Chromebook 11 weighs under 2 pounds and has a reinforced magnesium frame. 

The Chromebook 11 also has two USB ports, a headphone jack, microUSB charging port, 16GB of internal storage (with 2 years free of 100GB of Google Drive cloud storage).  The $279 price tag also gives you 12 free sessions of Gogo in-flight WiFi.  The battery gets you up to 6 hours of life.
