The Lenovo Vibe X Packs A Punch With A Quad-Core Processor And 5-Inch Full-HD Screen

Lenovo has announced a new smartphone called the Vibe X at the IFA conference in Berlin.  The Vibe X has a 5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.  It also has a pixel density of 440ppi and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen beveled at the edges.  The Vibe X also has a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK 6589T) processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

“Lenovo continues to bring head-turning innovations to the PC Plus marketplace with the Lenovo Vibe X smartphone’s uncompromising hardware design, its rich display and memory-making camera technologies,” stated Lenovo VP and general manager of the mobile business unit Wayne Chen. “Along with the S5000 tablet, these carefully crafted devices unleash a powerful blend of beautiful and smart technology to improve people’s lives.”


The Vibe X has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.  The rear camera has a back-illuminated sensor for shaper images and an LED flash.




The Lenovo Vibe X will be available in China starting this October in countries where the Lenovo smartphones are sold, starting in December.  The price is unknown for now.
