Earlier this month, LG Electronics announced a new Android tablet that has some solid specs. The new tablet will be called the G Pad 8.3. It will have 16GB memory, front and rear camera, 8.5-inch display, Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system, 4600mAh battery, and a 338 gram weight (half the weight of the Apple iPad 2).
The G Pad will have a feature called “KnockON” which lets users shut down the tablet by tapping on it twice. It also has the ability to “slide aside” apps that are open to open a new one. The G Pad also supports integration with the QPair app. The G Pad app allows users to see calls and messages that come in to their phones and text back responses from the tablet. G Pad users can have up to three apps open and show them on the same window at once. It is unknown what the price will be of the tablet, but we know that it will arrive this holiday season.
Below is a video teaser of the tablet.
