Apple announced at WWDC this week that their new upcoming MacBook Airs will be powered by the new Intel Haswell processors. The new MacBook Airs will look just like the old one though. The new 11-inch MacBook Air model will last 9 hours and the 13-inch MacBook Air model will work for 12 hours. The new MacBook Airs will also have 30 days of standby time.
The 11-inch MacBook Air will have a 128GB solid-state drive with a starting price of $1,000. Both models can be customized to have a capacity of up to 512GB. The new MacBook Airs will also have a faster 802.11ac WiFi. Apple launched updated versions of AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule to support 802.11ac. The 13-inch MacBook Air price was cut to $1,100.
The 11-inch MacBook Air will have a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and the 13-inch version will have a 1440 x 900 pixel resolution.
