The Polaroid iM1836 is the first Android-powered camera that has an interchangeable lens. The iM1836 was built by Polaroid’s partner the Sakar. The camera is powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it comes with a 10-30mm zoom lens. The camera is compatible with any Micro Four Thirds lens as long as you have an optional adapter. The camera can take photos that are 18 megapixels and record video at up to 1080p. The iM1836 has an HDMI output so that you can directly connect it to a TV. The LCD touch screen on the back measures 3.5 inches. The iM1836 is coming in Q1 2013 and will cost $399.
