Samsung Electronics recently announced the Series 9 Ultrabook. The 13.3-inch Series 9 Ultrabook has an Full HD 1080p display, Intel Core i7 (Ivy Bridge) processor at 2GHz, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of SSD storage, a 1,920 x 1,080 pixel screen, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, and an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics chip. The Series 9 Ultrabook is powered by the Windows 8 operating system, but it does not have a touchscreen.
The price of the Series 9 ultrabook starts at $1,399.99. Samsung was originally planning on selling the Series 9 Ultrabook for $1,899, but that would have been with a 256GB solid-state drive. The price tag closely resembles the 13-inch MacBook Air, which has double the storage, but a slower processor and lower screen resolution. The boot up time is less than 10 seconds.
