The ViewSonic VSD240 is a 24-inch touchscreen “Smart Display” monitor that runs on Android 4.1.  SlashGear said that it works just like an “oversized tablet.”  The VSD240 seems to be targeted towards business users and it could serve as a secondary display for the office.

The VSD240 is not intended to be a primary system.  The screen is quite responsive and it has a 1080p display.  Other specs include a 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 chip, TI multicore OMAP processor, HDMI port, Ethernet port, and USB ports.

The VSD240 also has an SD card slot, WiFi, and Bluetooth.  The VSD240 has a 1.3-megapixel webcam, microphone, and speakers built it.  If you want to get your hands on a VSD240, it will be available in North America this April with a price of about $499.
