The Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses Will Compete Directly Against Google Project Glass

At CES 2013, Vuzix showcased their wearable computing device called the Vuzix M100.  The Vuzix M100 will compete directly against Google Project Glass.  The Vuzix M100 connects to a smartphone through Bluetooth for connectivity.  The M100 smart glasses were originally announced in November at a price of $1,000.  However the company is launching the product later this year at a price of $500.  Other specs in the Vuzix M100 include a WQVGA color display, OMAP processor, 4GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, 1080p camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
