The world’s largest Lego tower has been built in Budapest and has broken the Guinness World Record for The Tallest Structure Built with Interlocking Plastic Bricks. The tower stands with the Lego bricks alone and does not have a form of external support. The Official Lego Builders team managed the project and helped build it with some of the local children. It is 114 feet high. On top of the tower is an oversized representation of a Rubik’s Cube to honor the inventor of the toy. The tower was made out of 450,000 bricks. The previous record holder uses 500,000 bricks to build a 112 foot and 11-inch tower in Delaware last August.
