Sony launched the PlayStation 4 last night at midnight. Thousands of people around the U.S. waited in line to get their hands on the PlayStation 4 console. Joey Chiu was first in line in Brooklyn. He waited in line for 20 hours. There was also hundreds of people waiting at the GameStop retail store on Market Street in San Francisco. People were willing to wait in line for a long time because they are loyal to the brands. The PlayStation 4 is the successor to the PlayStation 3, which debuted in 2006. The PlayStation 4 has a price of $400. The PlayStation 4 specs includes 8GB of DDR5 RAM, a low power x86-64 “Jaguar” eight-core chip, and graphics powered by a 1.84 TFLOP AMD Radeon “next engine.” The PS4 costs $100 less than the Xbox One.
