Toshiba L9300 4K TVs Are Arriving This Summer

Posted Jan 31, 2013

Earlier this month, Toshiba announced a new line of 4K Ultra HD TVs.  The new TV series is known as the L9300 range and it has 4 times the resolution of full HD TVs.  The L9300 series is powered by Toshiba’s CEVO 4K Quad+Dual Core processor.  The processor inside the TV is able to use Resolution Restoration to restore clean and near ultra HD image quality from content that has less than 4K resolution.

The L9300 TVs have a 240Hz refresh rate and a CQ Engine with picture quality controls like Edge Enhancer, Dynamic Gammer, and Expert Mode Calibration Capability.

In terms of Cloud TV functionality, the L9300 series has a family calendar to share family events and a personal messaging system to let you send and receive messages from friends and family.  The Cloud TV feature has a photo album, streaming news, and DLNA-accessible content.  The L9300s will have WiFi, WiDi, and Miracast integration.  These line of 4K TVs are expected to arrive this summer.
