TrackVia Raises $7.1 Million In Series B

 is a company that has tools for non-coders to build web applications that are optimized for mobile devices.  TrackVia has raised $7.1 million in Series B funding led by Longworth Venture Partners and Fairhaven Capital.  Other investors that participated in this round include Access Venture Partners, Flywheel Ventures, Draper Associates, and Allen & Company.

TrackVia said that users without a programming background can create simple and cloud-hosted apps through the point-and-click interface.  Data can be imported from Excel spreadsheets.  Even though the apps are hosted in the company, TrackVia hosts everything in SAS70 Type II certified data centers.

One of their customers is the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York City.  The hospital used TrackVia to build a HIPAA compliant patient care tracking application.
