A judge with the International Trade Commission has been persuaded that HTC is infringing upon two of Apple’s patents. This is an initial determination made by an administrative law judge (ALJ) according to FOSS Patents.

This determination was reviewed by an additional six-member Commission. The final Commission decision is expected to take place on December 6, 2011.

Two of Apple’s patents that the judges ruled HTC was infringing upon are:
Patent #5,946,647: “A system and method causes a computer to detect and perform actions on structures identified in computer data.”

Patent #6,343,263: “Real-time signal processing system for serially transmitted data”
