Turntable.fm Is Shutting Down

Posted Nov 22, 2013

Turntable.fm is shutting down their virtual DJ website to focus more on the Turntable Live platform, which focuses on live performances.  Turntable.fm launched over two years ago.  Over those two years, Turntable.fm made UI improvements, launched the GOLD service, built a mini player, and designed avatars.  Over 400 million songs have been played in around one million rooms.  Playlists and songs can be exported to Spotify or to a CSV file.  Turntable.fm is hosting a live party on December 2nd and the website will likely shut down after that date.
