Twitter and Chase Bank have partnered to give 4 million small businesses $1 million in free advertising. These businesses include the ones that use Chase’s Business Banking, Ink from Chase credit card, and Chase Paymentech. The free advertising will be awarded in $100 increments.
Twitter and Chase will be announcing more details about this initiative starting this fall. “Starting this week, customized Chase and Twitter content will be shared via the new @ChaseSmallBiz Twitter account, as well as at local events around the country exclusively for Chase small business customers. The first event will be tomorrow, June 11th, in New York City. To stay up-to-date on the conversations during the event, be sure to follow the #ChaseSocialBiz hashtag,” said Twitter on the company blog.
The goal of this program is to help small businesses build customer engagement and increase their sales using direct response techniques. Twitter also wants to help engage more followers with compelling content. Twitter head of small business Russ Laraway said that they will be posting videos, info graphics, and white papers developed by Chase and Twitter to help small businesses learn more about the value of Twitter.
