Twitter Analytics is now opening for all users. This feature used to be limited to just advertisers since it launched in 2011. To access the service, you can sign in with your normal Twitter account and authorize the app.
Twitter Analytics will show you numbers and graphs that shows you which tweets have done the best. You may also be able to determine full statistics on followers like gender, location, and count data. Only certain users will be able to access this level of detail initially.
“We’ve been experimenting giving the analytics feature to a small groups of users outside our advertising clients. We’ve been happy with the response thus far, and will determine next steps after the conclusion of these tests,” said Twitter in a message to Gizmodo.
