Twitter is hiring a White House liaison in Washington D.C. to help policymakers “tweet more effectively.” Currently all of Twitter’s employees work San Francisco so this job would be the first on the East Coast.
“Twitter is looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial [sic] person to make Twitter better for policymakers, political organizations and government officials and agencies. You’ll be our first D.C. -based employee and the closest point of contact with a variety of important people and organizations looking to get the most out of Twitter on both strategic and highly tactical levels,” states the Government Liaison job description.
To get this job, you are expected to have at least 3 years work experience with politicians or working in the government. The person must also be willing to travel. [Telegraph UK]
